Muhammad Abraham

I’m Muhammad Abraham, and I created GymMembershipPricing.com to do one thing most gym websites do not do well: show people the real cost of joining a gym before they sign up.

Gym pricing is rarely as simple as the monthly rate on the billboard, because once you factor in initiation fees, annual fees, plan differences, cancellation rules, and location-specific terms, the cost can look very different from the number that first caught your attention.

Why I Started This Site

I built this site because I wanted a resource that cuts through the confusion and helps readers understand what they are paying for.

Too often, people join a gym based on an advertised monthly price and only later realize that the first-year cost is much higher once fees are added in.

Why LA Fitness Is a Major Focus

This site focuses especially on LA Fitness because it is one of the clearest examples of how gym membership pricing can be misunderstood.

A person may see a monthly price that looks reasonable, but the final first-year total can change quickly once fees are included.

For example, one of the breakdowns on this site shows how a $29.99 monthly rate with a $59 annual fee and a $25 initiation fee adds up to a very different cost than the advertised price suggests.

What I Write About

I write about LA Fitness membership prices, fees, plans, discounts, guest pass rules, family membership costs, student pricing, and comparison topics because those are the questions people actually ask before joining.

I also cover deal checks and special cases like waiver promotions, Costco-related offers, and other gym comparisons so readers can see the bigger picture instead of one isolated price.

My Research Approach

My background is in fitness and consumer finance writing, and I use that lens to make membership pricing easier to understand.

I pay attention to the details that matter most to members: what the first year really costs, what can change later, and which parts of a membership are negotiable or easy to miss during signup.

My goal is to explain the numbers clearly and honestly so readers can make better decisions.

Independence and Transparency

GymMembershipPricing.com is built as an independent resource, and It is not affiliated with LA Fitness International LLC, Fitness International LLC, Esporta Fitness, or any of their subsidiaries.

Every article is written to help people compare options, avoid surprise charges, and understand the full cost before committing.

What Readers Can Expect

I believe good consumer content should be practical, if a membership fee is waived in a promotion, that is useful to know, and if an annual fee hits earlier than expected, that matters too.

If a guest pass is free for first-time visitors but a day pass costs money later, that should be explained.

My Promise

My promise is simple: I will keep this site focused on the real costs, real policies, and real tradeoffs behind gym memberships.
